The chief minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai has announced niyad nellanar scheme to ensure basic amenities and benefits of welfare projects to each naxal-affected village. While addressing the state Assembly Chief Minister stated that the people of these villages will receive amenities the government’s PM Janman program. Central governments this program designed to promote socio-economic Welfare of particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTGs).
What is Niyad Nellanar scheme?
Niyad Nellanar stands for aapka achha gaon or your good village. Under this scheme, the government will effort to provide basic amenities and benefits in villages located within five kilometers of security camps in Bastar region through these camps only.
Chief Minister also said that in the last couple of months, 14 new security cans have been set up in Bastar. These security camps will also help to faciliate and implementation of new schemes. Around 25 basic amenities will be provided in such villages under Niyad Nellanar. The benefits of 32 individual-focused schemes government also ensured.

- four free rice
- gram-salt
- jaggery
- sugar
- ration cards
- irrigation pumps
- free electricity
- community halls
- Anganwadi
- and certificates of forest rights
According to the chief minister of Chhattisgarh in addition to all-weather roads, a sub-health center, elementary school, sports field, Bank, ATM, mobile tower, Helipad etc.
