The Season 9 of Pro Kabaddi League or PKL as it is popularly called is all set to begin on 22 October 2022. The auctions are already underway with only a couple of months remaining before the grand opening. The auctions had been conducted on 5th and 6th August and the show stoppers of the auction were the very known names of Pardeep Narwal, Pawan Sehrawat, Vikash Kandola, Fazal Atrachali, and Surjeet Singh. He has bagged a record high amount of ₹2.26 crores. Tamil Thalaivas have reserved Pawan for themselves for this season to come. He is the former captain of the Bengaluru Bulls and had been awarded the most valuable player award in PKL 6. His former owners surprisingly did not use FBM to retain him after the bid!
The bidding was being competed by the U Mumba and the Tamil Thalaivas. However, the latter won him through the record bid in the Pro-Kabaddi League.
He bagged 304 Raid Points. Pawan also had a Raid Strike Rate of 64%. He attained 16 points last season for his defending skills as well.

Bengaluru Bulls and Tamil Thalaivas had a hard competition in order to gain Vikash Kandola. Finally the bid stopped at ₹1.70 crores, won by the Bengaluru Bulls while the Thalaivas stopped at ₹166 lakhs. It was important gain flr the Bulls as they had already lost Pawan Sehrawat, one of their important players during the last season.
Pawan is from railway background. He has joined the PKL only in the fourth season and within the single season, he proved his mettle. He scored a total of 172 points in the Season 6.
His signature move is his running hand touch. He is quite flexible and his quick moves leave the opponents baffled. He had scored 182 raid points and 101 effective points during Season 6 while he scored 202 points in Season 7.
He had a stellar performance under the Haryana steelers and is expected to display the same vigour for the Bengaluru Bulls.

Pardeep Narwal has displayed his skills in all the earlier seasons. Though an ankle injury had disturbed his consistency, he is expected to bounce back this season.
He has bagged an amount of ₹90 lakhs this season. The Telugu Titans and the Gujarat Giants fought through the bidding all throughout. However, the UP Yoddha avaoled of their FBM to retain their star player.
He earned the title of “Record Breaker” in the Season 3 when he earned a score of 121 points for the Pirates. In Season 5 too, hedisplayed his skills by scoring 369 raid points and 18 super raids.
His most famous trick is the Dubki which is actually an escaping skill by crouching below a chain of defenders.
