Main intent to identify and nurture the potential of SC ST students from a young age for higher education in medical and Engineering field. Selection of students on the basis of 10th standard Merit and selection test among the students who have passed their matric from SSD high School. Every year more than 30,000 SC ST students with a in annual of Higher Secondary School Examination.
Urdu smooth implementation of Odisha Chatra protsahan Yojana, MoUs are refined with coaching Agencies selected for this program. These coaching Agencies will provide on-site medical and Engineering coaching, preparatory training to the selected st/sc students in proposed centres of Excellence.
During the event organized to inaugurate Odisha Chatra Protsahan Yojana, member of parliament (rajya sabha), dr Amar Patnaik and over 200 tablets from MPLAD funds for the students who will be undergoing the programme. Dr Amar Patnaik Twitted, was delightful to hand over 200 tablets from MPLAD for meritorious SC and ST students of our state who would be given specialised coaching for engineering and medical examination under Chhatra protsahan scheme.
