Main objective to launch this initiative, Kerala government will provide employment to around 50,000 people in the current financial year. And Keraliyam Scheme will be implemented under CM Local employment assurance program (LEAP). Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme 2022
Under this scheme, government aims to generate more employment opportunities within the state. In the Athijeevanam Keraliyam scheme there are five major components named as yuva kerala project, contact of work, EDP-K, ARISE and KMEDP. In the current financial year kerala government is going to provide employment to around 50000 people. This scheme will be implemented by kudumbashree and around 50,000 persons will get benefits.
For the smooth implementation of this scheme chief minister has also mentioned that Rs. 145 Crore will be allotted as part of rebuild kerala. And 20.50 crore rupees add plan fund of the project. In the below paragraph we will discuss about five major components of the scheme.

Kerala Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme
Yuva Kerala project: Main objective of Cuba Kerala project under Keraliyam Scheme is to provide skill training and employment to 10000 youths. Government has also sanctioned around 60 crore rupees for the same. In this skill training program 100% free training free travel, accommodation, Meal, uniform, post placement, support counselling and tracking for duration of one year provided.
Eligibility criteria – Under Yuva Kerala Project, the beneficiaries would be member of four family. Applicant must belong to poor family. Age group of applicant between 18 years to 35 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled tribe and differently-abled category age limit 18 to 45 years.
Contact to work– under connect to work program will focus on development of soft skill of young people in the ruler areas. Under this scheme government aim to provide guidance to youth to enable them to find employment and connect them to the job market. Main objective of Kerala Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme to provide training to around 5000 young men and women. Also these trained youth get a connect with employer and recruiter to secure their football employment as per their education qualification and skills set.
About Kerala entrepreneurship development programme
Kerala entrepreneurship development programme (KDP-K) – kerala government has also started entrepreneurship development programme and around 16000 new benches will be started in agriculture and non agricultural areas. The Kerala entrepreneurship development programme will cover around 20000 who will be able to join the scheme. Also State Government of Kerala will provide loan up to a maximum of Rs 100000 for the individual and 500000 to the group of venture provided at the interest rate of 4%. For the smooth implementation of kerala entrepreneurship development programme government has sanctioned Rs. 70 Crore.
KMEDP (Kudumbasree Micro Enterprise development program)
KMEDP is a main component of Kerala Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme. Under this 3000 individual Enterprises and 2000 group Enterprises will be started. Until this kudumbasree members and their families will get a financial support to start Ventures. More than 10 thousand people will get benefits under the scheme. All the individual entrepreneur can undertake project of maximum cost Rs. 2.5 and group of ventures can maximum project cost is Rs. 10 lakh.
