This scheme target around 17.25 lakh farmers in the state. Under this scheme for farmers will get electricity in two slots of a tower each between 5 AM to 9 PM. We all know that farmers required electricity for the Agricultural equipment’s in the daytime to reduce the risk of of wild animals and poisonous insects.
Government of Gujarat, had also provide total 17.25 lakh agriculture power connections in the state and divided into 153 groups. In these groups are getting three phase power connection for 8 hours in 24 hours. These groups get power supply in such manner so that power supply for 8 hour in a day and some get power supply in the night and some get power supply partially in the day and partially in night.
