Recently Central government has introduced carbon learning internship program Tulip for engineering graduates. Urban learning internship program for providing opportunity to fresh graduate in all ULBs & smart Cities launched. Tulip is a program for providing fresh graduate experimental learning opportunities in Urban Sector. This is a result of Bijnor Re leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji Ho firmly believes in the power of the youth and their ability is not to bring positive change in our country. Shri Ramesh pokhriyal minister human resource development and All India Council for Technical Education have jointly launched an online portal for urban learning internship program.
This program for providing internship opportunities to fresh graduates in all urban local bodies and smart cities across the country. The smart cities mission have made significant progress in past 3 years in laying the foundation of future of urban India. This project birth Rs. 165000 crore have intended and around Rs. 124000 crores are in the implementing stage.
Urban Learning Internship Program (TULIP)
The government proposed to start a program where the urban local bodies across the country would provide internship opportunities to fresh engineers for a period of 1 year. India has sustainable pool of Technical graduates for whom exposure to Real world project and planning is essential for professional development. General education may not reflect the depth of productive knowledge. This program will help to han han value to market of India graduates and help create a potential talent pool in diverse fields like urban planning transport engineering and environment Municipal finance etc.

An MoU has been signed between MoHUA and AICTE. With us MoU please important role and responsibilities of AICTE and MoUHA over a period of 05 years. This urban learning internship program would help fulfill goal to provide interns with hand on learning experience.

Benefits of TULIP Program
The government to this portal aims to provide internship to at least 25 young graduates in local and urban bodies.
- Only Indian citizen can apply for this internship.
- First graduate who have passed their engineering final year up to 18 months are eligible.
- The duration of internship will be 8 weeks to 1 year.
- Details of physician available will be displayed on TULIP Portal.
- The application will strictly accepted through online medium.
- Application be required in a recommendation application format.
- The applicant will also required to submit synopsis on urban issued under 1000 word along with his and her application.
- A digitally signed and shareable internship certificate will be provided by MoHUA, state government, AICTE.
- This certificate provided to candidates who successfully complete their tenure.
