Punjab sports minister Gurmeet Singh meet Hayer said that, in Khed Mela around 4 lakh players will participate in block and state level. The participants needs to showcase their skills age group as U-14, U-17, U-21, 21-40 years, 40-50 years and over 50 years. This sports event will continue for two months and interested click and adjusted themselves through online mode.
Punjab Khed Mela 2022 Registration
Interested and eligible candidates of Punjab state are able to submit their application from august 11 to 25. During a Press Conference in Chandigarh minister said that, sports festival would feature sports event. In state level winners of gold silver and bronze medal will get Rs 10,000, 7000 and 5000 plus certificate. Total prize money of 6 crore would be distributed. All the winners player would be covered in gradation policy of the state. The dope test of the winners as well as other players would also be conducted.
Also Minister congratulate all the medal winning athletes from the state in Commonwealth games. He also said that, punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant man has announced cash prize for a 3 players from Punjab State who bagged medals in Commonwealth games. The players from state 3 silver and 4 of bronze medal. Silver winner will be awarded with 50 lakh and bronze medal winner get 40 lakh.
