State Government of Telangana have recently introduced first phase of Telangana sheep distribution scheme 2022. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday instructed the officials to immediately complete the first phase of sheep distribution scheme. The Chief minister said that second phase of sheep distribution would start from financial year 2021-22. And funds under TS Sheep Distribution scheme will be allocated in the budget.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao instructed the official to Resume the first phase of Shape distribution program. Chief Minister also decided to start the second phase program from upcoming financial year and announced the the funds for the program would be allocated in the state budget. Chief Minister also instructed animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and official immediately start the distribution of sheep.

Sheep Distribution Scheme in Telangana Latest Updates
The seat distribution program was launched in the state to distribute feet on 75% subsidy to the beneficiaries. Distribution of seats is going to provide the beneficiaries among Golla-Kuruma community. First phase of program was suffered during last stage due to Corona pandemic. Government take this decision to empower the community both socially and economically. In the state there are around 7.61 lakh shepherds and 8109 sheep producers societies across the state. State government launched sheep distribution scheme with an expenditure of 10,000 crore to empower them. There are around 3.66 lakh units of sheep’s were distributed since the launch of a programme. As per result sheep population increased by 20.75 lakh in 2017-18, 39.94 lakh in 2018-19, 39.28 lakh in 2019-20 and 37.12 lakh in 2021-22.
Srinivas Yadav directed the official to Resume the first phase of sheep distribution programme and organise a formal event at Nalgonda on january 16. About 20000 have already drawn necessary demand draught and will receive a ship unit worth total Rs. 360 crore. Government of Telangana has introduced sheep distribution scheme. Under this scheme government aim to distribute shapes for state people. Government is going to spend 10,000 crore for sheep distribution. Government will provide benefits to around 08 lakh beneficiaries. Under sheep distribution scheme government will provide 75% subsidy to the beneficiaries of the distribution of sheep.
